*These tree seedlings would make a great addition to your property or even fun party favors!

*Sizes range from 4-8" tall from base of the soil. Keep in mind that every tree is unique and may be smaller or bigger than pictured! Taking approximately 40 years to mature, it can grow up to 75 feet high, and about 20-35 feet wide.

*This tree is very versatile for many areas around the world! Originating from Scotland, to the Pacific Ocean and from above the Arctic Circle in Scandinavia, to the Mediterranean. This bad boy is quite the traveler! When planted in the ground, they can grow 12-24 inches per year!

*Ideally it is best to plant in spring or early fall, it is possible to plant in the winter time if being planted in a temporary pot until the next spring hits. To avoid damage to your tree in the winter, use sticks or stakes to prop the tree up. To prevent from freezing, wrap in a vinyl guard or tree wrap. When planting, dig a hole 2 times wider than the root ball, and as deep as the actual root. The trees root collar should sit at ground level. Once its in ground, water immediately!

*When newly planted, make sure the soil is consistently moist especially while the roots are trying to establish in the ground in the first growing season! Putting a organic mulch over the top of the soil will help retain the moisture. Mulch will also act as an insulator in the winter!

*Once planted, allow tree to get at least 3-6 hours of direct sun per day.

*Fertilize once per year, they like a slow release conifer fertilizer.
